Who is the Eureka Springs SDA Fellowship and what do they stand for?

Abundant Health Wellness Center (AHWC) was established as a non-profit lifestyle treatment center in Eureka Springs, AR, five years ago by two doctors, a dietitian, and a motivational counselor.

A small group of dedicated Christians began meeting together in January 2020 in the Abundant Health Wellness Center to fellowship and study God's Word together.

AHWC is now open on Sabbaths also; not for medical consultations, but as a spiritual hospital known as Eureka Springs SDA Fellowship. What began with a small Bible study of a few ladies has become about twelve who attend regularly. The group also meets on Wednesday evenings at 5:30 pm and every morning at 6 am on a telephone prayer line.

How are they following Christ's Method Alone?

Methodology: We pursue our mission under the guidance and through the empowerment of the Holy Spirit through:

1.     Preaching: Accepting Christ’s commission (Matthew 28:18-20), we proclaim the everlasting Gospel of God’s love and character, most fully revealed in His Son’s life, ministry, atoning death, resurrection and high priestly ministry. Recognizing the Bible to be God’s infallible revelation of His will, we present its full message, including the second advent of Christ and the continuing authority of His Ten Commandment Law with its reminder of the Seventh-day Sabbath.

2.     Teaching: Acknowledging that development of mind and character is essential to God’s redemptive plan, we promote the growth of a mature understanding of and relationship to God, His Word and created universe.

3.     Healing: Affirming the Biblical principles of the wellbeing of the whole person, we make the preservation of health and healing of the sick a priority and through our ministry to the poor and oppressed, cooperate with the Creator in His compassionate work of restoration.

4.     Discipling: Affirming the continued spiritual growth and development of all disciples, we nurture the newly converted, instruct them in righteous living, train them for effective witness and encourage their responsive cooperation to God’s will.

Who leads out in this Fellowship Group?

Rex Frost, a retired SDA Minister from Garfield oversees this group along with Rodney Weyer, pastor of Rogers SDA, Huntsville SDA and Berryville SDA.  The Rogers SDA Church has volunteered to be the sponsor of this group and was witness to their first baptism.
